Chick on a 162, opinions?

So I'm going from a 151 to a 162 and was wondering if anyone (especailly the ladies) has any input on this big track jump? What's your input on riding a long track? FYI I'm 5'6 and 125lbs. Any info would be rad! Cheers eh

You should love the 162! You will notice the ability to be able to stop and go in the deep a lot more vs. with the 151 how you have to keep the track speed up. Also I would gear it down a little.

Sold my old Rev 159 to a gal about your size last year and at 1st.......I was leary as I thought it may be a bit big. But.........she has proved me wrong!!!! She digs it and motors all over in the deepest of snow......yeah she can't man-handle it like me at 230 lbs. but she hardly ever gets stuck. She just flat out tractors around on it. Pretty cool to watch actually. That's my story and I am stickin to it!! Rock the 162 and don't look back! Have a fun and safe winter ahead.........

Dave

Are you kidding? 125 pounds and you want a 162? Why not just pick up an old SUmmit RT 1000 while you're at it and make riding really miserable. Stay 153, ride it like you stole it and you will pass up anyone on a 162.

I'm not worried about passing people in the rocky mountains.. just outclimbing!! Thanx for the suggestion but I JUST picked er' up tonight. Cheers eh :beer;

My wife rides a 162, she says it's the cats meow. Mainly because she is not an aggressive rider. The 162 gets her azz OUT of more trouble then it gets her into. It is just so dam sure footed. It' the right choice you will like it.

Chick on a 162 is sexy! OOPS, guess I should have read more than just the headline. I'm with Sandman. Longer is always better, particularly in used sleds where the cost differential is negligible.
