Check your chain case oil

Snap ring - Lower gear, the ring that holds the bearing in...

Somehow ended up being chewed and floating in the bottom of my chain case.

I've heard a rumor that I'm the third person that this has happened to on new sleds.... I'm going to be talking to the dealer tomorrow to see what's up.

At minimum check your chain case oil for crazy shavings just to be safe.

I went with the TKI belt drive and the last thing I need is for that ring to come off and chew up a belt while it's digging it's way out the side of the carbon fiber belt drive cover.

Good news....That ring goes away with the belt drive.

Chain Case oil

Synthetic 75W-90 Gear lube works great.

Good news....That ring goes away with the belt drive.

The inner snap ring that holds the bearing in, not the outer snap ring that holds the gear on.
