Check your cables! Edit-worn out, not snow damage!
My clutch cable seperated right at the lever - presumably bent too many times when I rolled the bike into the snow.
I think I'll build a rigid guard.
Update - it looks like it broke at the ferrule at the lever, NOT due to bends in the snow. Either way, I should have checked before now.
