Check your By Pass valve (SC Nytro)

Had a grand experience this weekend, I had put a different valve on my Nytro and low and behold too much pressure and blew my throttle bodies off of the flanges. Another disassembly - GREAT!!!!!!!

what? you had no bypass? different brand than most? huh?

no bypass on 15lbs and no problems for me

I do have a blow off valve on mine, I really do not know what went wrong. Happy thumb I guess, easy fix just time consuming

Did you guys take out the little spacers on the hose clamp bolts?? They are like a 1/4 inch long and it allows a tighter clamp....just a thought. The MPI intercooler doesnt bolt on like the MCX one does??

 

[RACINSTATION]

Rob: I looked the clamps over and as stated above, it will work better and tighter if you remove some material on the stock clamps. I am taking about 1/4" off of the sled I am building right now and it snugs up a lot tighter.
