Well, if we are actually doing something wrong I would agree with you. The picture I posted broke none of the rules the admin set; yet it still gets yanked. Yesterday, two snowmobiling forums just set new records for the most users online in one day. I don't suppose that has anything to do with the admin's antics and the mass exodus of people leaving?

Not another logic loop again.... You mean, if it bothers people, maybe they shouldn't open this site to begin with? Oh, you meant everyone else, except for you....
I was trying to point out that people seem so surprised that they get a negative reaction when they taunt the mods/admin. Seems silly.

This is a forum, we are supposed to be able to have discussions at forums. Weather it's discussions about activities taking place that we don't like or about "other" websites...the admin isn't allowing this to happen. Yes, i know this is a privately owned forum and they can do as they wish, but they're driving away people doing it. They're trying to silence the lambs. This was never an issue until we know who took over. Members are being vocal and pushing the issue because they feel they aren't being heard. If the admin addressed the issues and gave some reasonable responses other than deleting threads, posts and saying "stop it already"; maybe there would be some progress.
Take the Klim thread for example. How is anyone supposed to know there is an issue with the gear if no one is allowed to voice their opinion. This isn't utopia you know.
ruffy rider........with all these pro admin posts I would think you are very close to a job here as a mod.......there are openings.

I think you mean the Klim threads! Yes it was brought back after a day, but that was with most of the important stuff removed, and that lead to the second Klim thread that was started. Which in turn lead to everyone getting upset that we were accused of bashing a vendor. That then lead to everyone questioning the way that was handled and then those were deleted which brought up more questions and on and on.
All the Koolaid drinkers want to know why there are so many negative threads right now, they just need to learn to listen to what is being typed.

There is a lot of truth in this point you make.
I love my Klim gear.
I have the Valdez Parka, the Freeride pants, Inferno Shirt, Inversion Jacket, and other stuff and I would unfortunately have probably bought the gloves and maybe even their boots, figuring the quality of those items would be similar to the outstanding quality of the coats and pants.
I would have wasted my money and if I was to later find out that many people were trying to warn others in the snowmobiling community about the lousy gloves and boots but the mods deleted the threads because they didn't want to pizz Klim off then I guess I'd have another reason to be pizzed at them.
I do own one pair of Klim gloves that I've had for a couple years but the fact is that they fit so sloppy that I rarely use them.
There is so much fabric in them that it's like trying to ride with a beach towel wrapped around the handlebars and they wear out your arms because of the GI Joe Kung Fu grip you have to have on them.

There are many methods to get resolution on a subject. Few of them are ever found on the internet.

It was more of a quip about logic and most importantly patience is severly lacking on the internet when it comes to conflict resolution.
It is a conundrum of the internet. Everything is available right now, we are used to it, we expect it. Unfortunately, that expectation doesn't work when trying to resolve a conflict amicably.
Like if there is a problem with your neighbor, you might go over, have a beer, chill out, and talk it out. Here, the guns were loaded half an hour ago and people are looking for a target.
Did that make any sense? I rambled..
