Check Engine Light

I have a 2012 Switchback Assault 800. The check engine light came on and the code that came through was 524007-FMI(2) (Fuel Type Selected-Signal out of range). Any suggestions on what this means, or what i can do to fix it. My main problem is i am heading on a trip on Thursday and due to the holidays, my dealer can not get it in to be looked at before i leave. Could it have anything to do with a couple plug and play accessories i put on it; 12 volt plug and pro armour teather. Thanks in advance for any assistance

Forgot to mention. Run 91 non ethenol gas and the plug is on the non ethenol side. Thanks!!

To me it almost sounds like the non ethanol, ethanol plug is defective or not plugged in all the way or bad on one side. Try messing with it and try the other side of the plug, ethanol side and see if this helps. Just a guess though but its fast to check yourself.
