Cheap Pro mods

I want to put some small performance mods on my 2013 pro. But I don't want to loose reliability. Any ideas???

RK tech Drop In kit. Best bang for your buck and increases reliability in these 800s by addressing some of the design issues.

I don't doubt that that increases reliability but you will lose your warranty on the motor. I think that the reliability has been much better with 13's and 14 year Pros. I'd leave it stock myself.

I'd do the Carl's clutching and an HPS can. It seems that stock motors these days have really closed the gap in performance mods. Back in the late 1990's there were a ton of big HP gains to be had. Now, you pretty much need a turbo or BB kit to get big gains. I think if you get the CFI2 tuned out right it will run with any other stock 800 as the sled is 30-50 lbs lighter than the others to begin.

Heard two sources that they have had great results with the bmp pipe and needed to add 2g of weight over stock.

Im gonna try the 2.3 ratio c3 belt drive on my 14

When you have a 2011 like myself that is no longer under warranty that really doesn't matter anymore. It's all about making it reliable and getting some more power out of it while I am at it is a bounce.

Fair enough, but this thread was started based on a '13 Pro. I don't know if it is under warranty or not. My '13 Pro is on it's second year of four.
