Changing Track Help?

Cant get the shaft to break free of the break disc mount, any advice/tips? Do i need a gear puller or something?

You don't have to remove the shaft if you undo the bolts that hold the brake assembly in the bulkhead (5 I think) It will allow enough play to get the old track out and the new one in. its easier than removing the shaft from the brake rotor and avoids the need for the brake nut removal tool ($30) Hope this helps!

x2 For simple track swap just leave it connected and swing it down and slide the track off the shaft. Don't kink the brakeline. Should be less than 1 hr job with two guys and air tools.

we tried swinging it to the side and pulling the track off but theres just not enough room to squeeze it by.

Yes it willwork, must tilt axel all the way, .Should slip right out of there.then slide new one is same way..You can do it..
