Changing 2010 ecu to 2009 ecu???

I have put on a few aerocharger 66 on D8's and the 2009 that I put on runs flawless all around. He has never updated the computer to any new flashes because it just runs. Now I have a 2010 that I put the exact kit on that I am having problems with a low end bog that I can't get out of it. Will the dealer be able to put a 2009 ecu flash in a 2010 sled so I can set the 2010 up the same as the 2009?

the wire harness for a 2010 will not allow the reflash program to flash back to previous flashes because all of the 09 flashes require a "jumper harness" to activate the process. your dealer will have to take the ecu out of your 2010 sled and put it in an 09 and then flash it back... at least thats my personal experience, this was last january when i did it tho, so there might be a way around it now

It`s same ECU on all 4 injector 6/7/800 from 07-10.
09 800 has 5 different software available.
If you don`t know what software to chose,you can read out software number
from the 09 ECU you know work for you. The Non US software has little more fuel in the midrange, than the production sled.

Yes, if your dealer use his DW he can read the software number out of the 09 Ecu. He also has to select 09 800 sled on the DW menu to find the software ,and use the 09 chassi number when he flach for 09 software. You only need your 09 sled and the Ecu from the 10 to get this done.
All 800 08-10 has 4 injectors.

What is the recommended flash number from 09, It worked better with the turbo than the latest flash.

"MAG" The sled that I will be using for the 2009 flash would be one of the earliest ones because he snow checked it and the ecu has never been touched. Like I said it runs great all the way through.
