Changed injectors and cuts out at 7200 now

I changed the injectors on the sled and had it reflashed and now when ever I get to 7200 rpm it cuts out. It feels like it does when it hitting the rev limiter, almost as if your letting off the throttle.

Has anyone else had this happen or know of what it could be?
 
If you have a 2012 and replaced with yellow injectors you may have the wrong ones. Polaris had miss-packaged injectors. The part # on the harness is correct but they have the wrong injector. If it is a 12 the injector needs a long tip for the green o-ring cushion. Another way to tell is if the barrel is silver(2012) or blue(wrong inj). This miss-package deal has been going on since December.

If it is the 2011 that is in your signature, have the dealer hook up DW and make sure the correct map code has been loaded into the ECU. Sometimes it doesn't load or if there was an interruption while loading it may have missed part of the map.

That makes a little more sense. It is an '11, but they did sell me the wrong injectors and I've been trying to make it run on them all season and finally took it to a different dealer who looked at it and went "well hears your issue".

I'll get It back to the dealer for another flash then. Thanks
 
I've not done it... but was told by a source I trust that you have to use a "zero flash" new ECU in order to run the 12 map in the 11....

Do you guys have different experience in use?

You are correct, MH. Tried it on an '11. Can't reflash all the maps like we did with the 08-10.

Reflashed with a 2012 Map in a 2011 ECU??

OR

A brand new, zero flash, 2012 ECU flashed with a 2012 Map?

After you have answered MH. Have you checked voltage to the fuel pump? Fuel pressure? Pickup valves in the tank? Are we sure it is fuel related?
