He there so I have a 2003 mountain cat 900 I just bought and there is something weird about the idle. I usually choke it to start it and when it starts with the choke on it idles around 1400 rpm. When I turn the choke off it goes to around 1000-1200 rpm and stays there until it warms up. after is has warmed up for a few minutes it idles at 2900 rpm. This is all without me hitting the gas at all. And suggestions? I was going to just turn the idle down so when its warm it would idle around 2200 but im concerned it wont start when its cold out based on the low idling. any help would be appreciated. Oh its got a new motor in it and has performance intake, twin slp pipes and can and vforce 3 reeds. I dont know if that makes a difference
