Change bov spring or change bov?

I've got a 2008 Yamaha Nytro turbo (240HP MCXpress rear mount) with the BOV by the oil resevoir and was wondering if I should go with a lighter spring in the BOV or a new BOV all together (Synapse???).

My BOV got destroyed trying to change out the spring. Just order a synapse hopefully its here next week.

Now my BOV was stilling working but I thought a new spring would make it work better.......then I ended up having to buy a new one.

I changed my spring to that lighter one and it definitely opens easier but it does not totally cure the surge , was told by Erik that the surge with the mcx spring is totally normal and doesn't cause any concern, don't know for sure but I do know for sure that the lighter spring opens easier.
