Should I got the challenger extrem 2.5 or the new powerclaw on my turbo nytro? Both would be 162

Rode the Cats 09's pre-release, and the best part of them was the track....from what i could tell, it got on the snow just as well, and carved better...I have a Powerclaw coming for mine...

There was a guy on here who had run one all year on his Nytro, cannot remember who it was, but remember him being pretty impresed...

I rode with the powerclaw for the last half of the year, and thought it was
a great track.
another one of my buddies with the same sled set up but with the chall. ext.
2.5 had no problems and enjoyed his track.

So what Iam saying is either track will do you great. especially with big boost!! Watch the clips and make sure none of them come off!! dc

Hey Sawyer,

I ran the Extreme 162*15*2.5 on my T-Nytro and it grabs great. I would think under 230 horses you are not gonna notice much of a difference between the Claw and Extreme.

How does the powderclaw work in the powder as far as the hard-soft compound and trenching??

Sawyer sent you a PM got a new teather for ya.

I saw that in powder it was great! the powerclaw was quick to get up on the snow.. but that still will depend on your skid. The powerclaw in the spring snow in late June would not hook up until the sun beat on the snow for a couple of hours.. "As you can see in the new 10 high video" I could not hook up and it would slide out and lose control.. I would still take either track over
5 free maverick tracks.. And yes the powerclaw is fully clipped. dc

So the powderclaw is only a 15 wide correct guys?? Anybody know the weight of a 162 and who has the best price on one?

where are you guys ordering your powderclaw tracks from, what pricing are you seeing out there? ski

contact FreeAgent on here for the best price. She quoted me $600 shipped and every Arctic dealer said around $850

best I have seen from a dealer is $619, but will contact freeAgent right now...thanks Sawyer!!

powerclaw

free agent quoted me $615 shipped, but mtn. magic motorsports in preston idaho, quoted me $700 installed, he bought 100 of them

you will spend 500 in fuel to get there and back...it is an easy install...TY has a godo thread wtih pics and everything...got mine from FreeAgent, it is sitting in the garage...waiting to get ported and new driver to get put on...and new IceAge Rails...they are being sent to powdercoat right now, and looking forward to gettig it all put back together!!!!!

GUys are all the tracks just clipped ever second window then?? Are you clipping the rest or just leaving it?? With boost I kinda think fully clipped is nice....how do you guys feel?? I'm seriously considering trying a powder claw but the clip issue has me worried....am I over reacting??

i think having only every other window clipped is hard on the drivers and the track . instead of the driver making contact on every window and spreading the load its putting the load on one window . theres a reason camo strted making fully clipped tracks again . mine lasted all of last season but my avid look like crap because of it . also is the powder claw avalible in a 16 wide track ?

no, powerclaw is not in 16 wide, only from arctic cat, and their M chassis is not possible to fit 16 wide in it...(atleast I have been told, and as soon as I say that someone will say it has been done)

Heres a couple. I think this is going to prove to be a great track.
