I geared down my sled, but when I reassembled it the brake disc was not flush with the end of the shaft. The end of the shaft was recessed about 1/2 inch. Is that correct? I can't remember what it looked like when I took it apart. Is that right?

If you could push it in any farther, the rotor would grind on the chain case. I just can't believe the shaft would be short. Anyone know for sure?
