Chaincase breather hose leaking

Hey would anybody know why there's a good amount of oil leaking from breather tube on the chaincase fill cap ? It's not overfilled, it can actually be filled a bit. It's a 2022 backcountry 850. I appreciate any help. Thanks!

Did you have the sled upside down for a period of time?

It hasn't been upside down. It will do it from trail riding.

No clue then. Only time I have seen chaincase oil come out of the tube is when the sled is upside down.
You are actually using skidoo chaincase oil?

I've never seen it either. I opened up the chaincase to see if I can spot anything out of the ordinary. The oil was dirty and chain a bit tight. Changed the oil, set the tension right. Hopefully that helps.

Are you sure is coming out the end of the breather tube and the chaincase seal is not leaking? On the G5 that breather tube vents by the a-arm. I can’t recall if the G4 just hangs above the jackshaft.

Yep, its the same for g4 I have oil all over the shock area as well as where the tube connects to the nipple above the a-arm. Chaincase area is dry and clean

Took it out for a good ride and its not leaking anymore. Oil Must have been in need of oil change. Thanks for your help
