Man, looking at it again, I sure don't miss that auto tensioner...
most guys are doing manual chain adjusters, stock one is known to wear, break and not keep adjustment. You can either buy the whole kit or piece it together from the RR snowcross sled. I cant vouch for any, as I have a belt drive but here are a couple examples.

That goofy auto adjuster is one part of the sled I've never had a problem with. PITA to install but seems to work. 2600mi have installed the 19-50 gears and 15 wide chain. Wanted to do 20-50 but the chain wouldn't fit.
it was the original chain w/ 400 miles of 21/49 on it, so yaMaybe would fit on a used chain that has stretched a bit. New chain would not fit 20-50 gears. I tried, it was close but no go.
