Does anyone know what the chain tension suppose to be on a 01 800 summit. Not quiet sure dont want to mess it up

I run my adjuster finger tight and then back off 1/2 to 1 turn out (loose), put the key in it.

I think the set up in my manual for a 98 summit says "tighten the bolt with your fingers only then back off until you can get the cotter pin aligned" Typically on mine this works our to be 1/4-1/2 turn back from finger tight. I know this is not your year sled but I don't think the chain case set up is much different.

When you slip in your key, it still has spring pressure on it anyway.

.

Thanks guys looks like with some other research i've done that your right tighten until finger tight while rocking the secondary then back off to put in the pin.
