Chain case guard

I see racin' station has protectors for the chain case and the brake side. Is this the way to go or is there something else? Or is skid plate doing the job?

The Cat skid plate from Cat - offers good protection for both the chain case and brake rotor and the Bonus is it also protects your bulkhead and this style doesn't collect snow in the lower A arms like they did previously.

There is also BM Fabrications / TKI Cnc to name a few other options...

I for one enjoy the added protection from a skid plate

I have the cat skid plate and so far so good. I like that it has the long molded in runners leading up to the case and brake that help it slide up and over objects instead of just a big bulge at each side to get hung up on crap.
