Chain case down

Well I let a friend try out the 1100t and he gets off and says "something's wrong". Looked down, saw oil on the ground under the chaincase and it was making a horrible grinding noise. Finally opened it up today (week later) and there really is no good news.

As u can see the tensioner is broken and it appears that the bigger reverse sprocket and chain were rubbing on the case cover. Which put pressure on the cover and broke one of the cover mount holes off. The case itself has a crack and a piece missing at the bottom. I'm not under warranty and this isn't a sob story, that's the chance I took by buying it from the states. I don't know what happened or why and I couldn't stop it because I let a newbie ride it, again my mistake. At this point I'm looking at options for fixing it. Wondering what you all think. Thinking bmp reverse delete and a new case? Anybody installed one? C3 belt drive? Don't like this mechanical debauchery and I want it to be reliable. No I'm not buying a doo or a pro.
Thanks

A C3 belt drive would be nice. I dont know how much stock parts are to replace but I think a belt drive with a oil tank similair to what nytros are running in this picture. Maybe one of the C3 guys or wkm will post something about them and what needs to be done on the 1100 to make one work.

I think the c3 belt drive is non existent at this point. Thinking of maybe just going with an 800 jack shaft and some team gears and chain for now. And a new case ><.

Belt drive

As some of you know we have looked at the mock up of the tank but with chain cases exploding, belts exploding, and the odd jackshaft breaking the drivetrain is not reliable enough to put one on at this point. If we are breaking chains we will break belt drive belts. Ask me how I know from last year.

The belt drive won't be the issue, it's proven. The drivetrain has to be improved before another variable is introduced into the system. These other issues are not affecting everyone but it is enough that we feel it has to be addressed before moving on to the belt drive.
