This cracks me up. What a loon! But an entertainer for sure and one heck of an athlete. I thought this was just a joke when I heard the news. Then I was checking on some fantasy football stuff and saw Ocho Cinco! I will be sporting an 85 jersey this year.

I laughed so hard watching sports center the other night when i was reading the bottom scroll and it said "Chad Ocho Cinco says he will play in sundays opener even with a shoulder that requires surgery"

I will give him this. He is not getting arrested and getting into trouble off the field. When he shows up and punches the clock he is there to play and earn his take. So the guy does some stupid stuff when he scores and he likes to run his mouth, at least he is not getting arrested with illegal weapons, drugs, and beating up his girlfriend.

Chad is over the top. He loves to celebrate his td's just as much as he likes to score them. Some would say the game doesn't need people like him. He plays hard and keeps a good attitude. I would much rather watch him than a guy like Randy Moss. Moss is a over paid baby who won't play unless he gets way. Football needs less guys like Moss.

Who cares if they are celebrating, it shows they are having a good time playing the sport, something that is not common anymore, it's become who can make the most money playing that position. They should allow for all celebrations I think, as long as it is not mocking another team or certain individual on the field.

i have to agree with some of the others on this one. at least he's not getting arrested all the time or trying to kill himself(TO). so he dances a bit, as long as it isn't mocking the other team or a specific player, who cares. i knida like it actually, adds some flare to it!!!!!!!!!

I have no problem when he celebrates after scoring a TD. But when he talks to the reporters in the third person it drives me nuts. And I wish he would just shut up off the field.

The list a couple years ago in 'ocho cincos' locker was great also. He gets an A+ for creativeness in my opinion. Grillz, blonde mohawk, legally changing his last name to two individual numbers!! the guy is all character. I will cheer for him as long as he is staying out of trouble off the field. I don't like the 3rd person talk either.... except in 'ocho cinco's case. Refferring go yourself as some character is funny to me.
