CFI FUEL SYSTEM, INJECTORS, STORAGE,PLUMBING AND OUR CRAPY FUEL THESE DAYS

Is there a trick to getting the injectors back in? Seem to be struggling on a rebuild to get the injectors in the top end monoblock.

They should slide right in unless one of the stems have gotten bent (which I have heard of people doing quite often) or the green seals have fallen out of place. Just lube up the brown o'ring's and the round surface they seal on with a little assembly lube or 2 stroke oil and verify the green seals the Injectors slide into haven't fallen out of place. I also use a little assembly lube on the green seals so they stay in place and lube the injector stem's so they slide in the green seals easier.

Got it figured out. It is easier to put the injector on the rail and then put the rail on the monoblock. I was originally trying to put the injectors into the block and then put the rail on them after.

If you look closely the rail and injector is notched to line it up.
