I saw Boyesen makes a larger impeller and housing for some of the bikes to help cooling when HP is added (more HP needs more cooling or you may not be able to use it very long or tune it for max HP). I thought that is great idea.
I can't make an larger impeller and a new housing at home. Anybody making one for the CFI 800? Does the standard RMK use the same water pump? Any old Pol mechanic have an idea from a past motor (like the 900) that might bolt on with a spacer plate for the housing?
Just shooting in the dark here but I would like to flow more coolant through the cylinders and head. I know that there are other factors like heat exchange compared to flow rate but I'll work on that if it is fact an issue on the Pro.
