J jhillam Active member Jan 6, 2016 #1 Anyone tried a cylinder base shim on a CFI 700 motor to increase port timing? I'm intrigued by dynotech claims on CFI 2 motors picking up so much with cylinder shim, head shave, ignition advance and a little power commander tweaking to the fuel.
