CF 1000 07 mountain machine ?

I know there isn't much discussion about the crossfires on this site probablly becouse the crossfire isn't a mountain sled. I get it, but I own one and have been reading a lot on mountain suspension and clutching here so I can make the most out of my crossover sled. I installed the 1.75" backcountry track and installed 60/60 gears down from 65/55. 4 tower clutch with totol 240 grams as spec for over 9,000 ft stock, 36 deg helix. I droped the limiter strap the most allowed and loosend up the front skid shock spring all the way. I installed 7" wide skis for this 1000 half ton sled to help get to front on top. The sled trenches bad and have blown two belts with 1100 miles.
1. Do I need to reclutch for this machine with 60/60 gears?
2. What else can I do to keep the 144" track on top with out trenching?
3. What bennifit do I get with a progressive angle helix?
4. I 've read issues about the 07 m sleds not having good rear suspension settings, do you think my crossfire has the same handicap as the M? What else can I do before this year of ridding?

i'll add what i can.....60/60 gears are good, i've tried m-8 gears, stock ones are better, especially with the shorter track you're running.....on your rear suspension, drop the front mounting bolt to the lower hole, you can see where by looking on the inside of the tunnel, it's about 3/4 of an inch lower than stock (at least that's where it is on an m-sled)....you didn't say your weight, but a softer setting on the rear spring/air pressure, will help the sled to weight transfer better....the track you have is shorter, that's ok, but it's probably harder also with shorter paddles, also ok, but in deep soft it's going to trench more, so don't compare it too closely with a 2.25 inch soft track....the 1000 has quite a bit of engine movement, which causes belt heating and premature wear, best single solution is an engine torque stop to hold things in place, "twisted turbo" makes a good one, call shain 801-668-6344....i don't care for the progressive helixs', but some like them...i have found that the straight cut 40 derees helix works well, with the stock orange spring with a shift assist (d&d sells them)...be sure to set your drive clutch with enough weight to pull 7200 rpm so that you load the engine for best track speed....hope this helps...:)

Vents sure wouldnt hurt anything if you are having belt issues, but definitely go with the Twisted Turbos extra motor mount too.
