Over on TY not here, their "FX Nytro General Talk". Thread had the word "doo" in it so it was bound to die.

I had an interesting TY experience. There was a thread going that I responded to. Somebody responded to my post asking me if I was a paid advertiser (because the thread was about a skid plate I made) Didn't know who the person was and they had no location listed........which is a requirement on TY. I responded politely and asked them to list their location. Next thing I knew I got a PM saying I was locked out of the site for 3 days.......and the poster added their location as "" MY BOOT IN YOUR ***"" and listed themself as a moderator!!

You have to see it from TY's eyes they get money from YAMAHA and YAMAHA only. Thats y its call Totallyamaha. So posting things about other brands dose not help yamaha. Ty guys for the most part only ride yamaha so your going to get s*** if you say something bad about them. If you need something yamaha that is one of the best place to go.

I frequent both and have no problems. I do understand that there are bunch of paid advertisers on there, and It would be kind of against the grain to pop on and market yourself. On the other note, I have seen your product discussed on multiple occasions on ty. I also believe that there are vendors on there selling your product. Kind of a catch 22 situation.

On another note if you want to see some backstabbing and politics galore go to some of the fishing forums. We sledders are mellow compared to that crowd.

I paid the money to support both sites and am glad to do-it. OK let me politically correct instead of do it, Yamacatpoledo-it.

Just some of the fishing forums are really one sided to the advertisers. Some time they give the advertisers control over a post from their region. So if you post a comment they do not like, next thing you know, you are black balled. Heck if the advertiser does not like you, next thing you know your log on does not work.

that is far worse than any of what is being discussed. imo.

Hey dude-its Morgan aka 'Teen Nytro' - I am working on putting the sled back together and will be looking to go play soon. I got into some hill climbing late last year and bent the heck out of the front frame and poped a hole in the oil pan...not bad really...the shoulder repair was $20K

TY booted me for revealing how lame the 05 Vector's rear suspension was. I owned the sled. Spent 2k trying to fix it. Shared my experience. Then was told I had no rights pertaining to free speech! The moderators basically attacked me. The truth is not welcomed over there. I tried to be informative. But they escalated it to an insane level. Never seen anything like it.

well how bout a change of topic here, although i think that snowest is great for info and have learned alot from guys like m5 who post on here.

I think you will find that polaris is much easier to toss around then the nytro. it takes a bit to get used to the way the steering is set up on them though. The engines make decent power but they have yet to make one that has held together (this being the 800). they only make it to around a 1000 miles or so then let go. (even with the updated engine)

Hope You have better luck with yours then my buddy's dad did, me personaly like the nytro better just cause its what im used and like the way the engine makes power.

I don't think they meant Yamaha the company. TY is definitely the top Yammy only forum out there. It is run as a very tight ship to keep the garbage out. The incident I mentioned several posts back was cleared up with Tom (Adm/CEO) once it was brought to his attention.
