Caution Buying Mirage Trailer.

Scheduled repair

Just so everyone knows:
@rsaint has made contact with us and I have assured him that his issues will be handled, even though his unit is outside the warranty. I have confidence that he will be satisfied with the result. Mirage stands behind our product and we look foward to his visit.

Thanks to all,
Curtis Toll

Just a update will be taking trailer down on the week of april 25 will keep posted on outcome. I have had positive conversations with Curtis and Rob.

Good to hear. Mirage makes one of the best if not best snowmobiling trailers on the market. 4 years and 20,000 miles later and my Mirage trailer is a champ. Still on original tires! I washed my trailer so many times that the stickers started to peel away, called Curtis @ Mirage and had new stickers 2 weeks later! Axle weld recall was the only issue I had-fixed by a local welder-Mirage took care of it asap. Awesome trailers guys! Keep up the good work!!!

I have always loved the looks of mirage and love my friends 2010 26'. Pulls like a dream. Sounds like the way to keep any trailer in good shape is to wash it. See what the snow show in SLC has to offer this fall on trailers and what deals they have going on.

Well just a update got my trailer back today looks just like the day I bought it 4+ years ago. All new hardware, new skin with corrosion barrier , lites, cabinets, replaced 2 pieces of floor, decals and upgraded interior lower wall with aluminum kick plate all the way down the trailer, rear door and seals. I am very pleased with the AFTER WARRANTY SERVICE that I received from Rob and Curtis.

I believe mine is an 08 model. Would have to look to make sure:face-icon-small-con Mirage contacted me via mail. Only required a trip to the welding shop and a call into Curtis and I was done! My welds where the bracket attaches the axle to the frame had very minimal cracks if you could call them that.

Yeah I know. I remember someone else on here taking their trailer in for repairs and being impressed with the level of "non-warranty" repairs that were made.

I think he also got a slamming deal on cabinets and heat, while they were in there fixing the other stuff.

I like these companies that are involved with their customers like this. :thumb::thumb:

Should be free like all others JUST SAYIN.

It is free for BASIC MEMBERS unlike all others. Just sayin you get what you pay for. I can show you plenty of forums that cost way more than this one does.

Mirage has been AWESOME!!! When I placed my order for my extreme snow package and had a few accessory items replaced with other options it only took 1 phone call getting all the details right and when I told them I wanted a black/black theme they pulled the trailer outside, took a pic and sent it via text to my phone! I called them back right away and they wanted to make sure that was exactly what I wanted before shipping it to Wyoming. When the trailer showed up everything was perfect. With the type of customer service provided to rsaint and me it goes to show just how important the consumer is! Great job Mirage:first:

Looks real nice and way to go Mirage. Your trailer looks almost brand new. I need to get a hold of them on a few things I have with my trailer, overall it's been great.

Glad to see you got things taken care of. Always have heard good things about Mirage and is why I too purchased a 2008 Snow Extreme. I have also contacted Curtis about a front ramp breaking off at the hinge welds. Trailer has 4 actual uses since new. He asked for pictures and havnt heard anything back yet. Busy I guess.:ohwell:

I find it extremely disappointing that this customer is so quick to blame faulty material and workmanship, while disreguarding any maintainence responsibilities he may have. It is very clear the corrosion issue is only around the fender box where the majority of road chemicals are distibuted. In addition, the exterior screws are discolored, a clear sign of extended salt/chemical contact. (wash your trailer).

This customer's unit is also outside it's warranty period; however, to condemn a mfg. for offering to repair this unit free of charge, no matter how old the unit, providing the unit is repaired at the factory, is perplexing at best.

Really? What about the issues with mine. I bought this in Nov, requested warranty service in Jan. It's now August and you still haven't stepped up.
You can blow sunshine up some peoples hind ends, but I'm not buying it.

To be very clear:
· On 1/19/11 Mirage received claim from dealer for the spring assist cover issue. The claim was approved on 1/24/11 for parts and labor( warr11-0-11). On 1/27/11 the dealership received payment for labor (inv.w4575) and elected to have parts shipped at N/C in their next load of trailers.
· Concerning the second claim from Mr. Fielding, the dealership submitted a claim (5-3-11) stating that the dents in the 6" ATP wall trim were caused by the customer running into the wall with his skis. This claim was denied (Den-11-012) but Mirage offered to supply replacement parts at N/C in their next load. With all that being said, the replacement parts have sat complete at Mirage since January waiting for Sam T Evans (dealership) to ship their next load.
· To further clarify, Sam T Evans is not the #5 Mirage dealer, in fact they do not even break the top 60.
· Curtis received a call yesterday (8-10-11) from Sam.T.Evans requesting we ship the spring assist cover U.P.S and not wait and put it in the next load, providing no complications, it should ship next week.
It is extremely disappointing when a uninformed customer posts misinformation concerning Mirage's willingness to help our end users. There are always two sides to every story and it is a shame when a customer gets caught up in the middle.

Kirk, no sunshine blowing here, just hard facts.
