Cat-Polaris Whats the best mountain track?

I have a well powered polaris I Q with a 155 track and want to get a longer one.* I have priced the new polaris 163($750) and the arctic cat power claw 162 ($550) with the cat it will need drivers, about the same money.* My Question is which is better? Cat guys say theirs is better polaris say the same. Im not brand loyal I ride whatever gets me highest on the hill, thanks for any help

What bigfoot said..I really have had great luck with the challenger extreme on alot of sleds.Never had anyone ride one and say they didn't like the track.

Cat's new track this year is SUPPOSED to be incredible. Haven't heard of any reviews yet thought.....

I think the 2.5 Camo is better track in hard snow

But, the 2.5 seems to have very stiff lugs

I would say the Polaris or the Powerclaw would outperform it in powder

My vote would be for the Powerclaw

I love my 156 x 2.5" extreme! But I was out yesterday on my new 153" power claw and was hookin up as good or better then the 2.5" in all conditions. Showing 5-10mph faster then the extreme too!:D

power claw/ attack 20

I have always been an attack 20 fan but this new power claw seems to take the cake. I am also impressed with the new tracks polaris is using. All the tracks anymore work excelent. I think it comes down to preference, in the deep pow i think the callenger and polaris trrack my do better but if tere is any kind of base or traction underneath the pwer claw will dominate.

power claw review

My power claw is awesome. My buddy has an attack 20 track and you can definitely feel a difference. In the pow you can see the machine accelerate much better than all other :)machines/tracks. On the trail, no one can ride behind me because the power claw throws so much snow in the air.

Ummm...yeah, same with mine.

hillclimb position A-20 with screws=((blizzard+ice storm) x meteor shower):D

The powderclaw I saw worked really well, the A-20 was a great ONE DIMENSIONAL track, it either worked awesome in the fluff or awesome in the hard pack, depending on the position, the powderclaw seems to have smoothed it out a little better!

The power claw on my buddys M8 is very impressive. Has to be the best all around track I have been on. I run the Camo extreme on my IQR and it works well, just not as good as the Power Claw. .02

Can't say I have ridden on the newer Polaris track, but the Power Claw suprised me on the hill the other day. Climbing a hill mid range hit the gas expecting to dig in a little, (-7 f) dry snow climbed right out on top worked better than I expected. cuts a side hill like no other too.
