cat exhaust valve??

This has been asked alot but here it goes. On a 03 800 which way do the valves go in? With the notch on the valve up or down?

Can't answer your question, but I do know that if you get it wrong.....it's going to cost you a piston.
I've got one buddy that I still laugh at because of this.

The machined slot should face down. Install the valve and check the clearance before you run it. Turn it over manually (slowly) while observing through the exhaust port.
