Hi Guys!

Just a reminder that memberships increase from $60 to $75 on Jan. 1. The club is also starting to collect at the trail heads, and trail passes are $10.

There was about 4.5' at the airport on Sunday, and it is snowing like crazy. It's supposed to continue for the next two weeks.

The groomer has been out a few times on the club side, and the Roys punched a trail into Ladybird cabin on the weekend.

Probed 7' near Joker's on Friday, almost lost my probe. There is an awesome base with two feet of soft stuff on top. Poor visibility, so we didn't get far.

Up Rover yesterday, and had similar conditions. We broke over Ro-bowl and Superbowl, and over to Marbel Lake.

i really want to check out rover, but none of my riding buddies have been there. i know that you access it by crossing the canal, but after than i have no clue. is it hard to find the parking lot and navigate the trails? or should i wait to find someone that knows where they are going?

Might want to find someone willing to show you over the saddle, it's not a groomed/marked trail. Watch out for the heli-ski operation, they don't have exclusive but do like to keep certain terrain to them selves - out of safety for their skiers along other reasons.

After the canal, it's the second road on your right... The first one will be gated. The trail is only groomed by the cat operation for a few KM, then it's a little tricky to find your way around. If you follow the trail straight until the end you will find the cabin.
