cascade id riding.

Hi everyone. Hope you all had a great new years day. I am wondering if anyone has a trail map to print of the trails in cascade. I heard that there is some real good riding there. I am originally from Wyoming and lived 30 min. from the snowy range. All my buddies here in boise only go to the trinnities which is alot of fun but i need a change. Can anyone tell me how to get to any climbs, off trail fun stuff. We are leaving sat am. So any info and help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks

Hey I am from Wyo too and live in Boise. I grew up riding in the Wind Rivers and then the Snowies while going to school at UW. We are going up tomorrow also, parking at Donnely (if the road is still closed at Banner Summit on Hwy 21) and going to head for Council Mountain if the weather is decent. If you want to ride along---check your Private Messages.

Here is a map of trails all around Cascade/McCall. Click on the south area map for Cascade----not the greatest amount of detail but I don't know of any better ones.

Hey thanks guys and thank you for the tag along offer PowderEatin. We ended up going to horsethief reservoir past Cascade and riding. We had some friends ice fishing there. I didnt think it was going to be much fun but me and my buddy took off on one trail that went to the top over there and ended up hitting the stuck fest it seamed like. eveytime we stopped going up or down hill it was a workout just to get going. Over there the snow still had no base to it. I got stuck one time and all you could see was the hood and the rear of the sled was below the top hitting dirt. Over waist deep of loose snow. But all in all it was fun exploring new areas. Thanks again.
