Cascade Area grooming

Anybody know if they are grooming in the Cascade area?

The Cascade Machine run up Anderson Cr. to the warming shed about two days ago, like the 27th. Don't know what else they have done.

it wasn't too bad on sun. it has gotten worse and worse and hasn't ben groomed since. rode sun, mon, tue their. It wasn't really bad today, but it was not smooth.
Just hold it pined and you will skip across the tops of the bumps.

The grooming for all of Valley county is not up to speed yet. They are short some personnel (operators and coordinator). All areas of the county are being groomed as they can. One of the West Mountain Club members who has been at the groomer meetings basically said West Mountain will be taken care of after problems are addressed in other areas. As of the 28th, there was not an operator for the West Mountain machine. A couple of club members (one a former operator for the county) volunteered to groom over the holidays. The county would not allow it because they would have to take a drug test and go through a background check. Sorry to ramble, but it looks like West Mountain will only be groomed when other areas are finished. The West Mountain club requests that the commissioners be contacted as lots of us spend money locally in Cascade.

The contact info I have is chairman Jerry Winkle (jwinkle@co.valley.id.us) or at (208)382-3242 and let him know how important it is to get the groomer program up to full speed ASAP at West Mountain.
