Carving while mowing lawn?

definitly port it.

Less grass will equal less weight(snow/ice build up) More airflow will allow the blade to run cooler and build more power.

The real question is, what kind of pattern should you use to port it?

Hell what about gutting the air box? Worth it or not?

Yeah, port the blade...good idear. Mesh hood...I like that too.

Wonder if ya could shave the belt?

Hows about porting the engine, shaving the head, and putting a straight pipe on it?

Don't laugh, my old mower I modded out! The Briggs motors in them blow hot air from the head into the airbox, well some plastic and silicone fixed that! Ran a cold air intake and made a huge hp gain, I'm betting it went from 16 to 17 hp! Ported the intake, carb off of a 77' xl 75 woke it up big time after I got the jetting right! My weed eater has a big azz chainsaw carb on it, ported and polished, with a shaved head! Ran sooooo good I tore it apart for a remote control swamp buggy! I think the biggest limiter on them is the carb, they can run wide open without hurting themselves, so a bigger carb on that weed eater I probably picked up a solid 1500 rpm, no joke! Ok, maybe I do have too much time on my hands, but I had the baddest weedeater in town for a while!

I'm thinking that we put it in the dish washer for a "heat cycle". That is what the cool thing to do with your XP belt in order to make it last for a while. It should make the mower last longer. What about a big wheel kit or a big bore? Boss seat? Turbo??? Fox stickers???
