Carlisle belts?

Anyone running these with any success? Only way I can get my stock rmk to pull 8100 Rpms is with 58g weights.

I bought the sled in 08 with 62g weights, reved high. Put 64s in it and still reved high. Put 66s in it and blew the 115 belt. So purchased the Carlisle belt and been running it ever since and have 2000 miles on the belt and noticed a small rpm drop so I put 64s in then I was riding around Christmas with 58s in it and pulling 8100 rpm across the lake.

Polaris book says 66s for my elevation (1000ft). Clutches has been cleaned and looked over recently and all new springs.

I bought a 115 belt and put 64g weights in it but have yet to try it.

A friend of mine was trying to use them in his xp with rpm loss too.

I guess this is a warning to not use the damn things.

Going to try it Saturday and hopefully I'm pulling 8100+ otherwise I got some issues.

I have run the xs for a long time in my 09. I ride 4 to 6k with 68g mtx weights and springs to match. Pulls 8100 all day long. you may have another issue going on if it wont pull 58g. Let us know what happens with the 115. I do think the carlisle is a bit more sticky which reduces slippage but may reduce rpms as well. I like them though because there is virtually no belt dust from them.

Ran the carlisle in my 2013 800 with no noticable difference except after a few hundred kms it ripped in half at high speed on the trail. Destroyed the foot rest, wasn't impressed. Trying the Dayco in our 600 now, it is holding up well.

I have ran this on my 860 doo and we have ran this on a pro with a silber at 10 pounds. Both belts blew apart and went out the belly pan. Put the oem belts back on both sleds with no problems. I dont like them. But you have 2000 miles on a belt? I would start with a fresh belt if it worked good before the 2000 miles mark.
