Carburetors on a 900 / Anyone

Have any of you put carbs on an 05-06 900.

I know they will fit. I have seen an 800 VES motor in these sleds
with rack mounted carbs.

Electronics are a hold up.

why would you want to do that...you would have to change everything...ECU included..not worth it...the EFI is very effcient

I highly doubt there is room under the Y-pipe to install carbs, but even if you could do it, I agree with guido. Why would you want to ???? I would never go back to a carbed sled after running fuel injection. The advantages of injection far, far outweigh the disadvantages.

You're right, electronics can be a b!tch sometimes, ask anyone who owned a late 80s/early 90s VW, Audi, Mercedes, etc...but I wouldn't ever go back to carbs. The start it and forget it life is way too good.

I might start wearing a diver's weight belt though to compensate for all the lbs I've dropped from my sled
