Carbondale sled rental?

Hey everyone,

I am coming out to Aspen for the Winter X-games this year and pulling out my sled. There is 8 of us going out and only me and another guy have a sled. We are thinking of riding around the Carbondale area. Is there anywhere around there that will rent privately?

I did a search and found a couple places, J&M in silt(too far away) and a couple others that do tours only.

Any help would be awesome and thanks in advance.

J&M are the only ones I know of that will rent sleds for sure. THe local dealers might but I have never heard of anyone other than J&M doing it.

So, it turns out that none of the guys going out there with me want to rent. I think it is just going to be me and one other guy.

What kind of terrain are we going to see out there? The only riding I have done in Colorado was in Steamboat.

In Carbondale area it is more boondocking, Aspen area lil' more difficult to find areas, but they have hill climbs and need to watch for Avi's.

i'm "other guy". anyone else want to go riding a day or 2? i'd feel more comfortable if there was more than just the 2 of us out there, especially in unfamiliar area.
