Carbon fiber exhaust tip for stock KTM?

Searched the net for a hour and couldn't find a cap for the stock KTM can?




Hate to buy a 3 or 400 can just for the tip.




Any other ways to protect pants from the stock can, other than being careful?

You want a carbon tip on your muffler or a heat shield on the head pipe?

For a heat shield, these are simple and affordable.

I'm not sure what you'd gain by putting a carbon tip on the muffler.

Gotcha - mine doesn't get even close to hot enough to melt pants as they brush across it throwing a leg over the bike.

Snowbiking I always stand on the peg (vs. on the ground in the dirt) before swinging a leg over the back anyways so my leg never even comes close to the exhaust tip.

Yea I need to do the peg thing more.




Suppose it's cooled off after a sidehill wreck, but sometimes then the peg hop isn't an option.




Oh well, burned pants is probably cheaper in the long run, than a 400 dollar can.
