I mounted it in the back underneath the turbo on the tunnel. Great place and easy to turn when needed

I too cannot wait to try mine out as well. Just installed a snorkel on my intake this evening, and picked up a spare pre-filter to keep in my bag as well.

I am at least going to go out and start it up this weekend, though it will be a few weeks before there is enough snow around here most likely, for a test ride at least.

You'll enjoy the boost. Keep an eye on your boost controller back there. I had a Hallman with a ceramic ball in it. It was mounted under the instrument console with the knob sticking out for adjustment. Had it freeze up several times causing overboost. There was a lot moisture inside that built up.

Yea man just waiting for more snow out west! It can't come soon enough! Have you ridden one of the 180 kits?

you are going to love the 180 kit. i went for my first ride on my mcx 180 the other day. i was extremely surprised by the power. sure feels like alot more than 180 to me!

I have tried a few! Loved them! I ran 12 psi on my apex. Im running a front mount system on 14-16 psi!! Should be fun!! Stoked like you :)

Ill make sure I make a post about it. I've heard a few good things. Everyone really likes the timbersled but I should like the ez ryde.

I've had 4 boosted Yamaha sleds and the MPI 180 is my favorite for all round riding. It has just enough juice to be dangerous but not too much that it's tough to manage. I think you'll love it.

That's awesome here and thanks for all the input. I think I made a good choice. I'm a salesman at U-Motors in Fargo so parts are cheap to really trick it out!

i know alot of guys say if you are getting the 180 just get the 240... but the 180 seems pretty crazy to me and plenty of power, but i guess it is coming from the stock nytro. like you said, it has great rideability, you can dink around and not have it rip your arms off if you want or you can get into the boost, but the power is still smooth and manageable.

Honestly, sometimes too much power takes away the challenge. I'm not into starring down the nasty chutes. So unless there was 4ft of powder I never got to fully appreciate my Impulse Nytro. If you're a really big guy like 250+ then it would be well worth it. Any boost is great! I did the install on my 180 and I thought the whole kit was well designed and I expect it to work well for many years.

I rode 1-800Oregon's turbo nytro with the MPI kit in it last year, and it was awesome compared to my NA Nytro, so I had to get the kit this year. He helped me install mine a month or so ago (well, he installed it, I tried not to be totally useless), and I too am really looking forward to testing it out.

I have been talking with Dustin at Outlaw Motorsports (where I got my sled, their help with all of my questions has been invaluable.) about the ECU update from MPI to run up to 200hp with the kit, and I will probably upgrade to that eventually - but I want to run with it without the update for a while before I drop the money on the ECU update.

I did cut some holes in the foam for the intake to allow for some more air to get through, same as 1-800Oregon did, and got another pre-filter for it just in case. Now that the snorkel kit is installed all I need is snow.

What clutching do you do for that elevation? I live in fargo, ND and ride in cooke city, island park and big horns. What weights are guys running
