I know this is a random post but my buddy has an 03 F7 and we are trying to break the clutch down to replace the inner half. The problem we are facing is that we can't find a socket to fit the nut on the inner part of the clutch. any info or ideas would be greatly appreciated. I am sorry for the dull details.

you need a spider wrench and post to hold it all..but your local dealer would only have it...so you will just have to jerry rig something to turn and to hold..they are tight...use heat on the spider as it aids in removal and because there is likely locktite..but i recommend if you can take to dealer to loosen..then you do what you need and then have dealer reinstal spider...you can get the specialty tools to purchase yourself as well
