Can't find a jacket that fits!!

I've been searching for like 3 days now for a jacket that fits, i've probaly tried on 100 jackets...Heres my problem, i'm 6'4" 280lbs with really broad shoulders, so I need really tall sizes. My chest fits about a XL or 2XL, but I try on 4XL and the arms are still barely long enough or to short and tight in the shoulders i'm swimming in the jacket otherwise. I know I can't be alone, has anyone found a brand that has a good size jacket? I've tried klim, north face, columbia, burton, helly hanson and a few others i'm probaly forgetting, of those only klim and helly hanson came bigger then 2XLTG.

Give HMK, & G-Max a try. wouldnt hurt.

I really like HMK, i'm sure they would fit, but i'm worried about buying online without trying on and it being to small, measurments only mean so much compared to actully wearing it. The closest dealer is over 100 miles away, no idea why they don't have one closer :(

**** me what kind sled do you ride ??

If your referring to why i'm looking at "non snowmobile" brand jackets it's because I tried on Klim and they are in the stone age with sizes, they don't even make tall sizes, and for the price tag for a jacket that doesn't fit well, no thanks. I am to the point, I don't care what brand I buy as long as i'm warm and dry and it fits good I don't care.

ya I know..thats great Im talkin about the part where you weigh 280 phucen lbs man

like are like fuggin Arnold........... takes up sledding ???

280 isn't really as much as you'd think. I ride a 03 summit 800 151", and no I don't sink all the time ;) All the guys I ride with but one is over 240, and i'm not even the heaviest, real man are big! :beer; It's a nice thing when your digging out your sled....

thats cool i am thinkin that you can really toss that thing around

Just buy a good ski coat that's water proof and wind proof...:) I'm only 5'9" 180lbs, does that mean I'm not a real man?

O believe me how i've tried, I went to 3 places trying on every jacket I could find, even jackets that were butt ugly and I couldn't find one that fit good, I was a bit picky considering I want one thats a bit to big so it will fit for more then 1 year. I spent $450 on a jacket last year that's now to small in the arms, it's to small when I move my elbow, somehow my arms grew. I just ment it's not a bad thing to be bigger, I mean I somehow end up stuck a lot and the bigger you are the easier it is to get yourself out :D

I can relate your problem finding a jacket. I am not quite as big as you,(6'1" and 240) but I have very long arms. The best fitting clothes bar none that I have found is Cabela's. Their "Guide Series" rain jackets make very good Sled jackets. I wear one and so did my ex and we love them. She actually wore their bibs (rain pants) as well since she was "petite" and they are just about as hard to find as godd true talls. Cabelas size chart is quite accurate and and they are no questions asked if you decide to return something. Hope this helps. I can understand.
Tim:)

I normally go XLT or 2XLT on my jackets and XLT on the pants/bibs. I just picked up Klim pullover 2XL and it seems to fit just fine. Gaunltet gloves always helped in the past to make up for the short arms... 6-5 250 and my arms are longer than normal. I can post fresh pics in 2 weeks.

I'm 6'3" 230lbs and picked up Klim Valdez jacket and Extreme Bibs last year, both in XL. I always need XLT and 2XLT clothes, but found these fit and work great! The hand guantlets are the ticket for guys with ape arms like myself. They keep out the wind and snow pretty good...keep dry and use layers.
