Hey, I have a 2004 rev 600ho renegade. I recently bought a motor out of a 2008 rs, looking for the gains from the different porting on the newer motor. I installed the motor in the sled with a set of ski doo racing twin pipes. The motor started and ran fine until I changed the jetting. I had te stock 370s in, but with the pipes I thought I would start high and work my way down. As soon as I put a set of 430s in the motor will rarely start, and if it does start it will not run for more than 15 seconds. Now to add to the problem, when pulling over the motor it will lock up. its pretty hard on the arms when the motor does it, which is about once every 5th pull, and it is also hard on starter parts. I cannot figure out what is causing it to stop dead like it is. I tore the top end off and everything looks good.
I have tried re-jetting, first with 400s then back to the stock 370s.
Any ideas?
