Just wondering what brand of cans people are using on the 07 Summit 800R. Dealer says test results are actually losing HP with most cans. Does anybody have any experiences to share? Thanks alot!
my dad has the mbrp and i have the dynoport. i think the mbrp gains a couple horsepower and really increases throttle response.it also drops a decent amount of weight. the dp sounds sweet and increases the throttle response greatly. i think it drops a few lbs also.
If you are buying a can to gain hp, youre wasting your time anyway. I buy a can for the weight savings and sound improvement over stock. I use the MBRP and am happy with it. Louder than the HPS but much quieter than the mbrp on the 800ho motor. Anything beats the boat anchor thats in it stock IMO.
Look at Precision (also known as Cutler) in Idaho Falls, I am running one on my XRS and a friend has one on his XP. Good sound for a R motor, we are both happy and the price is good, $250.
