has anybody ridden the spyder, i have wanted one ever since they came out but there wasnt a dealer close by......but now they are coming to spokane. i dont know if i can resist the temptation now that i can drive less than a hour and get one. hoping to talk to a real person rather than a salesman who is only memorizing the brochure

My buddy has had one since the end of march and the other day he let me take it for a day to see what I think. I think its pretty neat, ride is amazing very smooth pretty quick and very comfortable to ride. I thought it was a little different to ride then a tradditional bike especially if I compare it to my cunstom chopper, but it is definitley a bike you ride a long ways and be comfortable all day, it is kinda like driving a fourwheeler cause you dont lean you just turn where you want to go and it handles like an indy car. I hope my two sense help

Looked scary when I saw the first one coming up behind me at night. Loud V-twin, and the light setup looked like a UFO chasing me down!

Here in Canada they are about 20g's, overpriced I think. I'd rather have a bike for summer and a sled for winter.

I loved riding it. mine came in at a dealer 500 miles away the day after I blew my ACL on Easter so i let him sell it to another guy and re-order mine. When I'm healthy I'll be ripping on mine. in red! And NOW a dealer 5 miles away got the brand. LOL. Another month or two wait but injured I really don't mind waiting. I Love the ride. SMOOTH. I have sport bikes and full dressers and this is a very relaxed ride. I'm going to make it my work commuter. Plenty of storage. fun fast too. the front suspension blows my mind. Hell, I went hunting for rough roads and it soaks 'em up. My dealer was very fair at $500 off retail. I don't have the papers in front of me but I think it's $14,500. I have seen them for a lot more on-line. It will great to have a bike I can let a guest ride without having to worry also. My brother took delivery of his back east and he loves it. He's having a ball and his Harley is in the garage waiting for it's turn. Yeah,I say two thumbs up!!!
