Can you unbend bent handlebars?

Hey guys, I just purchased a 2007 RMK 600 and has a set of handlebars that are slightly bend down on the left side. Do I need to replace them or can I just bend them back to normal position without causing to much metal fatique?

If they are steel bars, go for it, if they are aluminum bars, you would probably be best buying a new set, aluminum is pretty much screwed up if they are bent to any extent!

I tried to straighten my bent bar's back out to make a ride because the vendor screwed up the shipping on the replacement's. They failed early into the ride.

I'd replace them now before you miss a ride because a vendor want's to rip you off. I'm only slightly bitter still :p

Replace!!! You know damn well that if they do fail... it's not going to happen when it's sitting on the trailer!! Just my .02.

Definately replace. Bend if you can to get you back to the trailer, but yeah.... replace 'em.

There's a few aftermarket bars that are decent, but the stock ones are cheaper.

Replace!!

Not worth having them break in a climb and loose your sled into trees or over a cliff. If they are stockers, there should be used ones lying around in someones garage.

Definately replace.
Bending wrinkles the materiel in the inner part of the curve and stretches the outer part of the curve.
Now when you bend it back, it tries to stretch the wrinkled part and wrinkle the stretched part.
This will cause a bad deal when you need it most.
