Just wondering if anyone knows if the parking lot is still open at stampede and if you can camp there this time of year. if not where can you still camp and snowmobile thanks for any info

Had some friends pull up to Stampede a week ago today and found the gate locked, sno-park closed....Met them at Blewett that day.......That's all I know.......
Yep was there last Sat. gate locked. Anyone know why the gate is now locked and is the groomer done for the season?

Snow park closed---but you could drive up to the lot by the shop or the pump station and camp there.

sno park pass say's nov through april not nov till april!!!!!!!!!!
So there is a side road to park along? Think anyone would freak if a truck/sled trailer was parked there? Never payed attention in the past...just always parked in the sno-park.
Just park it the "Y"....plenty of area to camp out. There were a few there last weekend.

I think they closed it early because we were supposed to start work on I-90 the first of April and it was still a ? as too where we were parking the trucks as that is where they were parked last year.
Camp at Price Creek just west of Stampede and ride Gold creek there's more snow there anyway!! Stampede must have had a huge melt off before the last storm because its almost no base GC is stocked up with snow
