Can you remove e start from 05 rev

Sick of buying batteries and need to know is it possible to take out the electric start and put in some kind of by-pass harness 05 800 renagade x. Has anyone done this.

Don't know if they did anything different in '06 but i took the e-start off of my rev and put it on the ol'lady's sled and both work just fine. Didn't have to put any harnesses on or anything. Just unplug and go basically.

I took the e-start out of my '06 and needed to get a different harness. New harness and then take it off and away you go.

Tablerock, get a jellcell battery, then wire in a battery tender from Menards or Northern Tool. At the end of the season, pull the battery and plug it into the tender. I have had the same battery on the Sea-Doo for over 7 years. That battery takes a beating every season.

you can remove it but you NEED the non e-start configuration harness to replace the e-start config harness. see of you can sell it and then trade the buyer harnesses. if you dont have the harness it will be a real pain to start and the non e-start harness keeps all the electricial acceries out of the loop unitl the sled starts. if you keep the harness in, when you pull start the sled you are powering EVERYTHING and thus putting less power to the ECM/MPEM and coil. if you need to purchase the harness it is P/N: 515176175
