Long time ago I saw some pics, somebody painted their engine
is it powder coat? or is there some other way you can paint aluminum
please help!

i checked into this a while ago. this spring i will be painting the insides of boats i am building, if i remember corectly, there is an acid based primer that needs to be put on first. im sure any body shop could tell you, and i am posotive it can be done

You can paint aluminum just fine, especially tunnels. I paint most of mine, prep is important but then use a good self etching primer for aluminum and and a true two component epoxy paint works great, most auto paints are to hard, so if you use a 2 stage auto paint get one that will flex without cracking for a sled. Lately I have been using POR's whitecoat/hardcoat epoxy paint and just tinting it to whatever color I want, my M1000 has been 2 seasons on the tunnel and it is still perfect, you can order all the stuff from POR 15 including the primer, but is nasty to shoot use a fresh air resperator.

It's actually VERY easy. You have to make sure the aluminum doesn't have anything on it and you can use a one-step auto paint. It's a self-etching paint made specifically for aluminum, but also sticks to steel. I just had a pro body shop do it to one of my cats and it came out really nice...
