Can you believe these prices on the 2009's?????

Norwegian prices

I got my 550 iq shift for about 10.600 dollars. That's 85.000 norwegian krones.
The assault is priced at about 17.000 dollars over here. It's so expencive because of all the taxes. I think it's madness!

I knew I should have just parted that 900 RMK out last week instead of trying to fix it again :o

They should be offering an extra set of pistons with every sale.... They are cheap for a reason, the motors are junk and the word is out. They are dumping them while they have a chance.

The snowchecks have always been more money than waiting later in the year for the same sled.

You know I have NEVER understood that??? It is true but would seem they penalize guys for opting in early. I mean WTF is a bonus 400 bux worth of clothes or e/start.....I mean come on we all know they do this towards end of season its not just this year.

Anyone know of some good current deals on a new 09 800 in the NW area (WA,OR,ID,CA,NV)? Looking for an Assault or RMK 155 or Dragon 155.

I called around some and it seems like the out the door price was around $9k. Not the $8200 that I have seen advertised. Also looking for a dealer that will do a trade in.

Thanks.

I see comments like this and think that sometimes the world could use w/o the internet. Seriously, I know there are some problems, but a comment like that makes it sounds like all the 800's have fried. I've checked around with my dealer and others in the area, and they seem to be doing OK. I'm not going to say they are 700 reliable, but c'mon.

I agree but it doesn't matter to someone with a problem. Once your sled goes down you can't help but wonder when/if it will happen again. The reality is it hurts everyone else too-the dealer & most of all Polaris. And why are some areas with a large number of 8's relatively trouble free? My Dragon is by far the best performing sled ever but if it blows next week I might have a different attitude!

Do you really think a dealer will tell the truth? Ya we have seen some blow up but have a great deal on one if you would like one, now that would be a great sales pitch. Sounds like you guy's in the hill are having pretty good luck, in the flat lands not so much. I now carry a tow rope and won't ride alone.

Thanks Buck. Will keep you in mind.

Anyhow, back the topic, what is the best out of door pricing for 09 800's people are seeing.

I was also thinking of maybe getting a 800 shift 144 since they are less expensive, if I can put a 153 powerclaw track under. Anyone, know if this is possible on that tunnel?
