New management of the forums
It seems like that there are those who would criticize who ever SW chose to run the forums. The conspiracy theories are pretty entertaining. SW has been around since the late 60's and the forums for over 10 years. I think they know how to run a business and sure they enjoy some users telling them what they should be doing. No wonder they don't respond. I wouldn't either with all the crap on here lately.

Its Christmas time so lets be happy. I am not saying we should all hold hands and sing.

The negativity is what is ruining SW.

Let focus on RickAstley for a minute. I wear tighty whities so lets start a thread on that.


Moderation
Seems like there were only a couple mods in the past so you could get away with a lot more. Now with the additional mods people are being held accountable for what they post and the rules are actually being enforced. Its been a long time coming. Things will calm down.


Freedom of Speech

There is no inherent right to "freedom of speech" on an internet forum.

The First Amendment does not mean you can say anything you want, anywhere you want, with no consequences whatsoever.

It means that the government can't tell you to shut up and that you can expound upon your political beliefs all the live-long day without fear of government reprisal.

It does not mean that no one else can tell you to shut up.


Yes you can post what you want but SW has the right to delete what they deem inappropriate.

Why don't you take off the tighty whities, put back on your big boy pants, and post this under your real name vs the alter and maybe some members will listen to what you have to say.

Don't you know we have this whiz bang rainbow thingamajig that can't be manipulated like the old rep system (Christopher said so) and it lets us know what members provide quality information in their posts and Rick's rainbow is pretty dim.
