I am to the color choice part of my decision making process...until I change my mind again :face-icon-small-hap and was hoping someone at the expo could take some pics of the '14's. both LE options(white & orange/black) and both Sno Pro options(green & white/orange & white). Real life pics are always different than the studio photos on the cat site. Our local show isn't till April. LAME!

Thank a bunch!

Sam

I will take some and post up Friday. Be at the exibit that evening. Let you know what one I like better. I'd have a hard time choosing between the two LEs. Have to come down to which one looks the best in person.

Hey chewy, when you're there, can u snap some pics of the color transition on the tunnel & hood of the LTD...PLEASE????

So it is just an orange hood with an orange sticker...same on side panel? I really hope the tunnel is painted and not orange vinyl on the tail end.

If you look at the pics on cat site you can see a black line under the orange on the rear of the tunnel (between decal and orange bumper), makes me think vinyl for sure.

I actually hope it is orange vinyl on the tunnel. That way it can come right off and leave an all black tunnel. Would look better IMO.

My black 2013 LE has black decals on it................, they dont paint these sleds anymore

Sam here is some info:

Black tunnel and orange plastic
White tunnel and black plastic
Color transitions are decals
New seat is nice, small storage, but air pump fits in there, it is a little stiffer then the 13s but I'll take it. Will be ordering the new tank/seat for my 13.

Going back today to look at the clutches. Wife and kid where with me.

I like the orange/black the best.

But honestly if I where to by this year, I'd get the pro-lite with out a second guess. Awesome machines and feel lighter. They wanted me to go for a test ride, thanks Kevin, but I passed. Better I don't know first hand what an awesome machine they are. Orange/black pro-lite is what I'd be all over. think the orange would look better with black a-arms and spindle.

Sorry, hotel firewalls uploading pictures. I will load the pictures when I get home tomorrow night.

Awesome! That is exactly the information I was looking for.

Does anybody remember the thread that was posted earlier this year, where one Shop took 2 '13 LE sleds, One was a black and one was a white, and they swapped the plastics Between them? I remember thinking that the combo of the different colored tunnel and Hood, black versus white, was pretty cool. Could do that with these by pulling the graphics?

Thanks a ton chewy! I can't wait to see the pics.

Not the best pictures, but here are a few. Took the clutch panel off one of the 8000 and pretty sure it was the 13 clutches, which probably isn't uncommon on display models, this early.

A man of his word:face-icon-small-coo. Any pics of the orange tunnel?

No, they didn't have one on display, sorry! Not sure why, would have taken a picture of it. I did see Amber Holt had a couple of the orange sleds on demo rides. But only saw them as they passed. Maybe someone that went on a demo ride took some pictures. The orange ones do look good on the snow though, might be my second favorite.

If I were buying a new oem cat it would be the green snopro and I would add the green hcr side pannels in place of the white ones with Arctic Cat wrap on the tunnel (look at a picture of the ZR RR for an idea). Next would be the white/black le for sure, it looks awesome from the front especially. The orange/black le is a really close 3rd.

After riding the BDX pro-lite though I will be snow checking a green version of it. It is the most fun machine I have ever ridden hands down.
