Run a search on Muffpot, you find several pics out here. I mounted mine on top of my MBRP can, it's level and works great! Sorry don't have a pic, but there is one of the same set up if you run a search.

Mine is in the same spot as in that pic, but I have a ceramic coated pipe so I have a tad more room and it does get hotter.

i was going to mout it on the can but it rocked back and fourth a bit. did you mount it vertical on stainless part or where the pipe meets the silencer?
